Cutting-Robot

AncoferWaldram Steelplates introduces a Panasonic 6 axis versatile industrial robot to oxy-cut steelplates. Because of the flexibility of this machine we are able to cut bevels and weld preparations with difficult contours. With multiple angles it is possible to change the cutting angle even during the cutting proces.

The robot is programmed off-line with software provided by Panasonic called DTPS-II. The product drawings received from the central forcam system will be “translated” by this software into a cutting programm. With the robot we can cut products up to 3000 mm wide and 6000 mm in length, this is because of the unique positioning system. The robot is mounted upside-down on a gantry. The gantry is positioned on a track by which it is a free programmable axis in the robot’ s system.

Bevels / Weld-preparation

In addition to our oxy-cutting possibilities we can also add bevels mechanically. The new machine is equipped with a rigid machine table and a pressure bar with claw shaped clamps which allow that one or multiple parts of different shape and size can be machined. With this machine we can apply all straight bevels with a maximum length of 6000 mm and with a maximum plate thickness of 80 mm.
